Dartmouth guy states Grindr hook-up generated intimate attack

The complainant took the stand Tuesday at a Dartmouth man’s test for a cost of intimate attack.

Gregory Howard Bowser, 28, is accused of sexually assaulting a person at a home in south-end Halifax into the morning hours hours of Oct. 16, 2016.

The attack allegedly took place following the complainant took a cab to your Tower path target looking to have intercourse with a new guy he previously simply met on Grindr, a networking app that is social.

Bowser’s test got underway in Nova Scotia Supreme Court in Halifax monday. A jury of seven men and five females is hearing the situation, with Justice Timothy Gabriel presiding.

Three police testified prior to the alleged victim, whoever identification is protected with a publication ban.

The 24-year-old guy told the court he had been home lying on their sleep and seeking at social networking on their phone as he started trading communications with a person whose Grindr handle had been Jockinraw.

“I happened to be definitely bored stiff and just trying to find sex,” the complainant stated during direct assessment by Crown lawyer Tanya Carter.
